Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 21, 2026
Standard Software Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the NO AI USA mobile application (the "Service"), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Service, including:
Information You Provide to Us:
- Account Data: When you register, we collect your chosen username, password, and information necessary to verify you meet our age requirement (18+).
- User Content: The videos, audio, comments, and interactions you create and upload to the platform.
Information We Collect Automatically:
- Location Data: When you upload a video, we cryptographically anchor it to your general location (strictly limited to City, State/Province, and Country). We do not continuously track your precise, real-time GPS coordinates.
- Device Verification Data: To maintain platform integrity and prevent bot activity, we collect standard device identifiers, operating system details, and network information.
- Usage Details: Information about your interactions with the Service, such as views, engagement metrics, and troubleshooting logs.
Information from Third Parties:
- Automated Vetting Results & Biometric Disclaimer: As part of our commitment to authentic, human-made content, your User Content is processed by third-party algorithmic analysis tools to detect synthetic or manipulated media. Our automated vetting processes analyze metadata and visual artifacts. We do not collect, process, extract, or store biometric identifiers or biometric information (such as facial geometry, retina mapping, or voiceprints) from your videos. We receive only the results of this structural analysis to inform moderation decisions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the NO AI USA platform.
- Display your User Content and associated general location data to other users.
- Enforce our Terms of Use, including vetting content for authenticity and preventing unauthorized automated access.
- Select, modify, and utilize specific User Content for promotional, marketing, and research purposes, as outlined in our Terms of Use.
- Improve the Service, debug errors, and analyze overall user trends.
3. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, nor do we share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy regulations and as defined by US state privacy laws. We may disclose your information strictly in the following ways:
- Publicly: Your User Content, username, profile image, and the general location data attached to your videos are broadcast publicly on the platform.
- To Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the platform, hosting data, and performing the automated algorithmic vetting of video uploads.
- For Legal and Safety Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or property of Standard Software Inc., or protect the personal safety of users or the public.
- Business Transfers: If Standard Software Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as a business asset.
4. Data Retention and Ephemerality
NO AI USA is fundamentally designed for ephemeral media.
- Standard Expiration: Videos naturally expire and are routinely removed from active display on the platform. Once removed from active display, they are slated for automated deletion from our primary hosting servers.
- Promotional Exception: If your content is selected for promotional, marketing, or research purposes, we retain a perpetual license to keep and use that specific content even after it expires from the active app or you delete your account.
- Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your profile and remaining active User Content will be removed from the public platform. Residual data may remain in our secure backups for a maximum of 30 days before being permanently overwritten and deleted.
5. Your Privacy Rights (US and Canada)
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as California under the CCPA or Canada under PIPEDA), you have specific rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal and operational exceptions (such as our promotional license).
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below. We may require you to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Service is strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will take immediate steps to delete that information and terminate the associated account.
7. Jurisdiction and Data Transfers
Standard Software Inc. is based in Ontario, Canada, and the Service is exclusively available to residents of the United States and Canada. By using the Service, you understand and acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed across borders between Canada and the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your data in these jurisdictions, which are governed by applicable Canadian and US data protection laws.
